Ryan Reynolds has lost his mind…

Posted on 28 April 2011 by TH3 No08

In an interview with Hero Complex Ryan Reynolds has stated that he felt that his new film is on the same scale as Star Wars with a mythology that goes back much farther than Star Wars. Huh? Really? Star Wars is widely considered the greatest sci fi epic of all time and you think you got that in the bag when your film just spent 20 million dollars to make sure all your CGI didn’t suck? Come on dude, your best film role ever was Waiting where you played a waiter, which you should be lucky you aren’t still doing. Come on now…Here’s the interview…

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 trailer here…

Posted on 28 April 2011 by TH3 No08

I’m not a huge fan of the the Potter films as some people are but I do enjoy them from time to time however I hated the previous one. It was boring and tedious but I do think the second half will be better just based on how the book was laid out. Here’s the trailer for the final chapter in the Harry Potter saga that hits theaters July 15 2011

New trailer for X-Men First Class…

Posted on 27 April 2011 by TH3 No08

Here’s the newest theatrical trailer for the latest X-Men film. Very cool stuff. I like the placement of the film in the cuban missle crisis and think that will play well as the story unfolds.

The film stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Jason Flemyng, Kevin Bacon, January Jones, Lucas Till, Rose Byrne and Caleb Landry Jones, and

Here’s the trailer for “What’s Your Number”

Posted on 26 April 2011 by TH3 No08

I’m usually not a big fan of romantic comedies but this one looks pretty good. Not so much for the movie but for the cast. There are a ton of comedians doing small parts in this film and some of the are actually funny.Chris Evans, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Ari Graynor, Andy Samberg, Aziz Ansari, Joel McHale and Chris Pratt just to name a few.

First image from the Avengers…

Posted on 26 April 2011 by TH3 No08

I know this is just some promo schtick to get people thinking about the Avengers but I’m pretty sure it’s gonna work. Production on The Avengers started yesterday and Marvel Studios released this photo with a press release to celebrate.

Production has commenced today in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated movie “Marvel’s The Avengers,” directed by Joss Whedon (“Serenity”) from a screenplay by Whedon.

The Devil’s Double trailer is here…

Posted on 26 April 2011 by TH3 No08

The poster for this movie hit last week and it was incredible. One of the coolest posters I’ve seen in a long time and it certainly piqued my interest in this movie. I don’t know how much of this movie is true but it definitely looks like some crazy shit went on in the desert.
THE DEVIL’S DOUBLE opens in theaters July 29, 2011.

New clip from the film “Priest”

Posted on 25 April 2011 by TH3 No08

I’m definitly interested to see what they are doing with this film. It’s nice to see a take on vampires where they aren’t being played by models and high school kids.

The film is set to be released on May 13th 2011.

Synopsis:

A legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.

PlayStation Network being rebuilt after continued outages…

Posted on 25 April 2011 by TH3 No08

This from the Playstation Blog

We sincerely regret that PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been suspended, and we are working around the clock to bring them both back online. Our efforts to resolve this matter involve re-building our system to further strengthen our network infrastructure. Though this task is time-consuming, we decided it was worth the time necessary to provide the system with additional security.

We thank you for your patience to date and ask for a little more while we move towards completion of this project. We will continue to give you updates as they become available.

The troubles for the PSN continue after several outages due to the “anonymous” hacker attacks and now Amazon’s cloud server issues they have decided to rebuild the system from the ground up adding better security. Hopefully this secures them for the long run as they have definitely had their issues over the past months.

Rob Kazinsky leaves “The Hobbit”

Posted on 25 April 2011 by TH3 No08

The setbacks continue for “The Hobbit” as Peter Jackson announced Rob Kazinsky’s departure via his Facebook page.

I am sad to report that Rob Kazinsky, who was cast in the role of Fili, is having to leave The Hobbit and return home, for personal reasons. Rob has been terrific to work with and his enthusiasm and infectious sense of humour will be missed by all of us. I should say that Rob’s departure will not affect ongoing filming of The Hobbit, nor will it impact work done to date, as we had yet to film much of Fili’s storyline. At the moment we are shooting scenes featuring Bilbo without the Dwarves, which will give us time to find a new Fili. I’ll keep everyone posted with updates as they come.

This from Kazinsky’s Twitter account…

Thanks for all your support, Peter and team have been the most wonderful and supportive team to work for and it

The Poster Wall #6

Posted on 22 April 2011 by TH3 No08

We’ve got a very interesting collection of movie posters this week that’s as varied as it is large. Lots of summer movie stuff in here as well as some cool foreign poster versions. Enjoy…

Up first are a couple of wide format posters for some summer stuff. I’m digging these posters more and more but the number of POTC posters are getting silly.

Up next is a very cool collection of Russian posters for the upcoming movie Cars 2. Very interesting group showing the main locations of the film where the big races take place.

Here’s a couple of the worst movie posters I’ve seen in some time. Basic photo shop skills are lacking here. It’s no coincidence that these posters look very similar to the awful designs of the early Fast 5 posters. The fan made posters for this film were much better than this crap.

Like super hero films? Like foreign versions of posters? Then enjoy these foreign posters for two of the bigger summer movies coming this summer.

Here’s a random group of posters for some smaller films hitting theaters soon. When you’ve got a smaller film it’s even more important that you have a great poster just to draw attention to yourself and these do a great job of that. I’m especially impressed by the Devil’s Double poster. The Devil’s Double is a film chronicling the life of a man drawn into a world of violence and murder when he is cast as the new body double for Uday Hussien

30 Minutes or Less wants to deflower your funny bone…

Posted on 21 April 2011 by TH3 No08

I’m not gonna lie, I love everyone in this movie. I consider them some of the funniest people on the planet and this trailer makes me love them even more. It’s a red band trailer so you have to put in your birth date to watch it but it’s totally worth it. Also, when did Nick Swardson get fat?
