Here’s another quick look at the upcoming Daniel Radcliffe film “The Woman In Black”. It’s the first film released starring Radcliffe since the Potter series concluded last fall and I imagine this role will go a long way in letting us know whether there’s a career in film for Daniel Radcliffe after the end of Harry Potter.. WIB is a remake of a British TV film from the seventies and is quite a different role that we are used to seeing Radcliffe in. Judging from this 30 second TV spot look for a lot of creepy imagery, foggy marshes and more that a few jump scares. “Woman in Black” hits theaters February 3, 2012.
Official Synopsis
The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
