Kill BIll Volume III?

Posted on 21 January 2011 by TH3 No08

Looks like Quentin Tarantino is getting back into the Kill Bill game soon. He posted on his twitter earlier Kill Bill Volume III followed by “The Bride Shall Fight Once More”. Looks like he’s prepping to shoot with a 2013 release date. I love Q.T.’s work especially Kill Bill I and II.

First look at the cast of X-Men: First Class

Posted on 18 January 2011 by TH3 No08

Here’s the first official image from X-Men: First Class. It’s pretty cool i guess. I expected them to be younger, like a middle school version of X-Men. I guess I should have read the synopsis…

Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN.

Bruce Willis to expand role in next installment of Expendables…

Posted on 18 January 2011 by TH3 No08

Apparently while he was being ridiculed by Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes over the weekend, Bruce Willis had other things on his mind, mainly the fact that he would be joining Sylvester Stallone for the sequel to Expendables. Stallone has previously stated on his twitter account that Willis would have a much larger role to play in the sequel and it looks like it’s gonna happen soon. When speaking to Yahoo after the globes he had this to say…

“Apparently it’s going to happen this year,” he said.

When asked if he will be in it — as has been rumored — Bruce confirmed the news.

“As far as I know, barring any unforeseen circumstances, but yeah, I would love to be a part of it,” he said.

It also looks like Jean Claude Van Damme will be joining the fray as well, as long as Steven Segal isn’t involved. Apparently they don’t play nice together.

Wicked new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows poster inside

Posted on 18 January 2011 by TH3 No08

This from the guys over at Geek Tyrant, an awesome take on the forthcoming sequel to HP and the DH. This thing oozes doom and gloom while being covered in artistic badassery. It does a great job of capturing the darkness and sadness that runs throughout the final book in the series that the part one of the movie was never able to capture.

A first look at Sinestro from the Green Lantern movie…

Posted on 13 January 2011 by TH3 No08

This comes courtesy of the french site Cineheros. The actual character and suit designs looks all digital and fake much like the other green lantern suits but he does look like the comic version of Sinestro. I’ll try and hold off judgement of this movie until i see it but i’ve been a bit underwhelmed by the what I’ve see of it so far…

Noxville and Samberg to be the next 3 Stooges?

Posted on 07 January 2011 by TH3 No08

It looks like Johnny Noxville and Andy Samberg could possibly be joining Australian actors Shane Jacobson as the newest iterations of The Three Stooges. Deadline reports that the actors are on a short list for The Farrelly brothers on again, off again, on again film which at one time had Jim Carrey, Sean Penn, and Benecio Del Toro attached. For pure slapstick funny (which is what the 3 Stooges were) I take Noxville and Samberg over Penn and Del Toro any day.

Full Captain America: The First Avenger Teaser To Air This Week?

Posted on 04 January 2011 by Christian

Rumour has it that Entertainment tonight will be showing a longer teaser for their behind-the-scenes Captain America set visit sometime within the next few days…

Despite speculation pointing to Entertainment Tonight not releasing more Captain America footage possibly for weeks, as late as next month, or even during the Superbowl. Well, Just Jared are reporting that we’ll see it a lot sooner than expected.

The 29-year-old actor will be featured in a teaser video for Captain America: The First Avenger later this week on the entertainment news show.

It’s not clear whether this will be footage of the actual movie, as they did before releasing the full Green Lantern trailer, or a mixture of that and behind the scenes footage as they did when they teased their visit to the set of Thor last year. I’m going to guess that it’s the latter mainly because that didnt look like actual movie footage in the 6 second video which was revealed online a few days ago. Be sure to share your thoughts on this in the usual place!

Captain America: The First Avenger is set to be released in 3D on July 22, later this year!

the beauty of pixar officially made me it’s bitch…

Posted on 29 December 2010 by TH3 No08

If you can sit though this and not feel a little nostalgic you either don’t have a heart, or you don’t have kids. My children were raised on Pixar, we own everything they’ve put out and do our best to see them in the theater when we can. Seeing all these clips reminds me of the great times we’ve had together and how quickly they grow up. Thanks for raising my kids Pixar, you’re doing a much better job than Nintendo did raising me…

New clips from season 2 of Justified…

Posted on 29 December 2010 by TH3 No08

I really dug season 1 of Justified. Walton Goggins is one of my favorite actors and Timothy Olyphant was actually my first pick for Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead (I guess he was busy). Despite it turning a bit into a bit of a formulaic/procedural cop show half way through the season they featured some very good characters who i hope to see return in the new season. Here is a quick look at a couple

National Film Registry Announces 25 New Additions To The Archives…

Posted on 29 December 2010 by TH3 No08

Each year the National Film Registry adds a small group of films to it’s archives to preserve them and keep them safe in their vaults and this years crop includes several notable films as well as a few head scratchers. I don’t know what the criteria is for being picked for the NFR but the films really seem to be all over the board ranging from the early days of film, “Newark Athlete” (1891), to the more modern fare “Study of a River” (1996).

There are a few standouts that should draw the attention of the readers of thenoobnews.com including “All the President
