Posted on 28 February 2011 by Christian

There were no comic book adaptations amongst the winners, but it was definitely a great evening for two superhero movie stars! Hit the jump for the full results…

Not a lot of shocks at this year’s Oscars. As you can see below, all the movies (and actors) that were expected to walk away with the big prizes did for the most part, and despite the odd few surprises the results are far from shocking. However, despite Christopher Nolan being snubbed for ‘Best Director’ and Andrew Garfield shamefully not recieving a nod for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ in

Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis Discussed

Posted on 02 December 2010 by Christian

Natalie Portman helped Mila Kunis get cast in Black Swan: “When Darren [Aronofsky] asked me, ‘Who do you think could do this part? Who has sort of a similar height, coloring, physique?’ I was like, ‘Oh, Mila, Mila, Mila,” the actress told MTV on Wednesday. But, “I didn’t really think through the fact that I was going to have to have sex with her in the movie. So, it was pretty awkward. Natalie Portman Writing Screenplays Now

Posted on 12 November 2010 by Christian

Not content to just star in a “chicks empowered by having cavalier attitudes towards sex just like boys do” comedy, Natalie Portman has gone and written one of her own. Portman and a college friend are shopping around a script called BYO, short for Bring Your Own, about two twenty somethings who throw a party where all attendees have to bring a single dude. It’s being described as a “female-themed Superbad,” and Anne Hathaway is reportedly interested in co-starring with Portman, though no word yet on which of them will be obsessed with drawing penises on everything. Holy Breaking Batman News Batman!!!

Posted on 12 November 2010 by TH3 No08

Breaking news from Deadline Hollywood regarding the future of the Batman Franchise. It was announced earlier today that there would be two female leads in the forthcoming Batman sequel, one playing the love interest, the other playing a female villain.

This news opens up a ton of options for who the villain could be, anyone from Cat Woman to Poison Ivy to Harley Quinn (and a ton more, check Wikipedia for a detailed list). Personally I’d love to see a Harley Quinn revenge story line for the death of her lover/partner in crime.
