Bat in the Sun Productions is a self-contained film and music production company. They are based in the Los Angeles area, 10 miles north of Hollywood California in the city of Calabasas. The company began in 2001 and was founded by Aaron Schoenke and Sean Schoenke. The work of BITS has collected many film festival awards, and has received notable attention from the film industry, as well as a loyal fan base.
I ran across this short while perusing the filmschoolrejects.com Short Film Of The Day column and cant say enough about how much I enjoyed it (the column and the film). World Cinema comes from To Each His Own Cinema which is a collective film of 33 shorts directed by different directors about their feelings about Cinema. It’s a perfect statement on how appearances can be deceiving and how films can connect us despite the fact that we are all very different people and also how we sometimes take for granted the fact that you don’t have to be a film snob elitist to enjoy something a little deeper.
