Still refusing to let any details slip about his role as John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises, the actor has instead praised Christopher Nolan’s directing and storytelling, promising that fans are in for a treat…
So far, all we know about Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character in The Dark Knight Rises is that he’s a police officer, with any additional details we know of having come from what we’ve spotted in the various set photos and videos. (all of which have only served to make him all the more mysterious) So, when USA Today caught up with him in Toronto recently, what could he reveal about his role in the movie? “”Nothing,” he said.
Oh. Thankfully, he did go on to describe Christopher Nolan’s style of directing and storytelling, praising him and promising fans that all they need to do is have faith in him to deliver an amazing movie. “I can tell you that one of the things I admire most about Mr. Nolan is that he understands that the story begins before the movie does. He’s already telling the story that he’s got cooked up. He’s a master storyteller. Every little bit of information he lets out, he does it at the proper time.”
“Far be it for me to preempt the rhythm of his. I love that people are excited about it. I guarantee, as an audience member, one will have the best experience if one just trusts him,” he added.

An extra that has been on set of The Dark Knight Rises gives some information about the final battle between Bane and Batman. Read article at your own risk.
A recent interview with a extra from TDKR might possibly reveal how similar the movie is to the comic storyline “Knightfall”.
Know Your Marvel News: So you are an extra in The Dark Knight Rises?
“TheDredog21″: I’m a Extra in the movie when we start shooting in Pittsburgh next month.
KYMN: You say next month, is there anything you have already filmed, anything new that we saw in the teaser?
“TheDredog21″: [in the trailer] The Epic Conclusion is referring to the fight scene between Bane and Batman. Batman does get bloodied and beating to a pulp finally bane has Batman over his head in the air …..well you just have to find out what happens but the first offical trailer you will see has young Ra’s al ghul and Catwoman. But it is Bane and batman at the end of the trailer Batman is limping and Bane is limping as well, Batman walks up to Bane before they fight and Bane says I’ve been waiting for you pumps his Venom up then turns his head then Batman backs up.
KYMN: Some very interesting details, so what else will you be shooting?
“TheDredog21″: I’m Just a Extra During Banes Prison Break but I hope to do more films since im talented in doing voices and i would play a real dark bad guy or any voice of a villian if i had a chance to.
So it sounds as though that Bane will figure out Batman’s identity and break his back like in the original comics, but there is no confirmation that this is true.
We won’t know the truth for almost a year when The Dark Knight Rises releases on July 20, 2012. Starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane,Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle

In the same article from THR that confirms Marion Cotillard’s involvement with Christopher Nolans upcoming Batman threequel, the site also mentions Kate Winslet’s name..
I guess this one slipped by us! But along with Marion Cotillard THR mentions some other ladies possibly in line for a role in The Dark Knight Rises. Two of them have popped up before in connection with the movie, but Miss Winslet has not..
Nolan had been focusing on finding the romantic lead for Christian Bale in recent weeks, reading and meeting with several actresses, including Kate Winslet, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, according to insiders.
Both Watts and Weisz have been brought up as contenders for the role before but, along with Winslet, it appears they may still in the running, although apparently the role is Cotillard’s if she wants it. But she is expected to give birth in May when the film goes into production. Still nothing solid on the character these actresses are up for. The popular theory is Talia Al Ghul, but looking at the other contenders and the fact that we already have one female villain in Anne Hathaway’s Catw..uh, Selina Kyle, I reckon it’s either Sarah Essen or Vicki Vale. Of course there are lots of other possibilities. The character may not have even appeared in the comics before. What do you think?
