Didn’t watch the first one, probably won’t watch this one. Other than that this looks totally fine, right? I mean, Paul Sheer’s in it so it’s got that going for it.
Having awoken from their spring break extravaganza at Lake Victoria, the swarm heads upstream where they look to make a meal out of Big Wet, a local water park where when it comes to fun, nobody does it wetter! Thought they came to get wet, get loaded and get some, the staff and patrons get more than they bargained for when they must face the fiercest, most bloodthirsty piranhas yet. Lead by the strong-willed, studious Maddy and her friends, Barry and Kyle, the trio must dive in and take on these man-eating creatures using every ounce of their being…but can they be stopped?
I saw this over on AICN and had to share it with you. Very few words can describe how awesome and terrible this is at the same time. It’s a fucking zombie Bin Laden movie. Really?
Apparently these guys are looking for fundage to finish their film over at kickstart. Go here to help them out. Enjoy?
The story follows Dusty, a yoga instructor from Colorado, who is on a desperate rescue mission to save her crazy brother Derek, a conspiracy theorist who is convinced Osama Bin Laden is still alive, despite having been buried at sea. Turns out Derek is not so crazy after all, and that Osama has returned from his watery grave and is making an army of zombie terrorists. When the group crashes headlong into the growing zombie apocalypse, Dusty and the troops must find and destroy the root of the zombie insurgency before it infests the rest of the world.
This is one of the best spots from Sunday’s superbowl commercials and really got me pumped up for The Avengers. Whedon really pulled out all the stops and I have to say the reveal of the Hulk was awesome. There’s even a nice scene of Loki and Tony Stark sharing some banter to fill in a little story info. Good stuff to check out including some nice tag lines.
Marvel has released a teaser for what fans can expect to see from the ‘The Avengers’ trailer on Super Bowl Sunday.
The 17 second clip features some new footage set to operatic music with glimpses of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and The Hulk (who will be played by Mark Ruffalo).
The highly anticipated superhero film, for which the first trailer was released in October, assembles in theaters on May 4.
Guy Pearce plays a government agent convicted of a crime which he did not commit. He is offered his freedom if he can rescue the President’s daughter from a prison in space which has been overtaken by its prisoners
Here’s a very cool video from summit featuring Elizabeth Banks giving some commentary on the trailer from Man On A Ledge. An interesting take on the movie trailer that really gives you some behind the scenes insight on what actors are seeing when watching their own trailer.
From the ledge of the 25th floor of a NYC skyscraper, where one wrong step means death, a cornered Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) must orchestrate a dangerous plan to prove his innocence for a crime he didn’t commit. ??MAN ON A LEDGE opens in theaters this Friday.
From K Games comes the trailer for The Darkness II, coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on February 7 in North America and February 10 internationally. I didn’t play the first Darkness and probably wont play this one either but it does look interesting. A word of warning though, the trailer is all cgi cinematics so we don’t really know what the game play will look like. We’ll have to wait and see actual game play when we get a real trailer closer to release date.
Based on the supernatural horror comic book series created by Top Cow Productions, Inc., The Darkness II delivers a brutal and personal narrative as gamers take control of Jackie Estacado, head of a New York crime family and wielder of an ancient and ruthless force of chaos and destruction known as the Darkness.
The Darkness II is the sequel to the million unit-selling 2007 title, The Darkness, and brings a unique new combat mechanic through Quad-Wielding, which will allow players to slash, grab, and throw objects and enemies with two Demon Arms while simultaneously firing two weapons. The game is layered with thematic elements of dark versus light, steeped in deep and twisted storytelling, and maintains the stylistic violence visualized through a hand-painted graphic noir technique, true to its comic book origins.
Wes Anderson is back with a trailer for his latest film Moonrise Kingdom. It’s his first film since The Fantastic Mr. Fox and the first live action film since the 2007 release The Darjeeling Limited. Five years is entirely too long to wait between journies to the Wes Anderson universe and I’m super stoked to see this when it hits theaters. Enjoy the trailer below while I go watch Rushmore.
Here’s another quick look at the upcoming Daniel Radcliffe film “The Woman In Black”. It’s the first film released starring Radcliffe since the Potter series concluded last fall and I imagine this role will go a long way in letting us know whether there’s a career in film for Daniel Radcliffe after the end of Harry Potter.. WIB is a remake of a British TV film from the seventies and is quite a different role that we are used to seeing Radcliffe in. Judging from this 30 second TV spot look for a lot of creepy imagery, foggy marshes and more that a few jump scares. “Woman in Black” hits theaters February 3, 2012.
The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.
In preparation for the release of this trailer which I knew was being released this weekend, my son and I sat down and watched The Two Towers today to get in the mood. It really did the trick. This trailer really puts you right back in The Shire like you never left. For a movie that’s not hitting theaters for another year there is an incredible amount of content here. Watch the trailer, then go back and watch the LOTR trilogy and prepare yourself for the adventure to come. I can’t wait!
After sitting through about a week of bootlegged cam versions of this we now have an official release of the full length trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. I’m continually blown away by Christopher Nolan’s work as a director. He has reached a level of perfection in his work that few directors have even come close to and I expect TDKR to be his best film so far.
Things that stand out to me in this trailer are Bane’s voice. It seems eerily similar to the strained growl of Bale’ Batman voice. No coincidence there I’m sure. Next is Cat Woman and her parallel to the OWS in her mini monologue. There was a lot of talk during the New York stage of production that they would mirror the Wall Street protest and it looks like she is right in the middle of it. Third is the quick shot of Joseph Gordon Levitt. I’m curious what role he will play in this film as rumors have had him playing everything from Robin to Night Wing to a new version of the Joker. All will be revealed when it hits theaters next year. I can’t wait!
The first trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘The Dictator’ has been released.
The comedy, which sees the actor reunite with his ‘Borat’ and ‘Bruno’ director, tells “the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppresses.
The trailer also features Megan Fox, John C. Reilly and Ben Kingsley, who joined the project this summer.
Fox especially has a funny line after a night with the dictator.
“What’s this, a ruby? Is that a joke? What am I, a Kardashian?”
With the news that Dark Knight Rising’s trailer would be hitting theaters in December it got a lot of people wondering what other trailers we would see attached to the big holiday movies and it looks like we may see the first trailer for The Hobbit attached to a December release. According to IGN.com Andy Serkis who plays Gollum in the upcoming Hobbit films recently gave an interview and spoke regarding when we could see a trailer.
There will be a trailer fairly soon, actually. Around Christmas time, I believe. It’s just around the corner.
If I was a betting man I would imagine you would see it attached to Peter Jackson’s next film “The Adventures of TinTin” which hits theaters on December 21, 2011.
John Carter is a film that has been passed around from studio to studio for awhile now and it finally looks like Disney is going to be the one to get it onto the big screen. It looks pretty epic mixing sci-fi with swords and sorcery almost like Tron meets Conan. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
We get our first look at the full length trailer today and I’m still a bit torn on how I feel about this film. It seems very derivative of The Japanese film Battle Royale from just a cursory glance. I don’t know much about the back story but I’ll do my best to go into in with an open mind.
Set in a future where the Capitol selects a boy and girl from the twelve districts to fight to the death on live television, Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her younger sister’s place for the latest match.
Sometimes I think this guy gets entirely too much hate for what he does. Then sometimes I totally think he deserves it. I’m a bit torn about this trailer. It’s got some very cool music and the cinematography isn’t bad. Even the zombie makeup is pretty original and interesting but then he goes and throws some of the worst special effect shots that I’ve ever seen in a trailer out there. It’s based on a video game and just on his track record with video game adaptations I’m pretty sure this is gonna be an awful movie.
Not sure how I feel about this just yet. The graphics look kind of weak compared to a lot of recently released games but these games are all about the story so I’ll give I’ll play it before I pass full judgement based on just a trailer. That being said this is certainly going to be one of the most anticipated games of the coming year. Let the full on hype train begin.
Here’s the full trailer for Darren Boueman’s upcoming film 11-11-11. While not as weird and creepy as the original teasers, it’s still pretty crazy. Be sure to check it out when it hit’s theaters and tell us what you think of it below.

There’s not a lot to say about this. I’m a huge Joe Rogan fan so seeing him back on this wild ass show is gonna be fun. Check out this trailer and place your bets on how long until someone gets killed.
Fear Factor will have a two-hour premiere on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011.
