During Scarlett Johansson’s appearance on the ‘Late Show’ last night, the topic turned to her now infamous nude photos.
“Yes, somebody stole my nudie photos and they were out there for all the world to see,” the 27-year-old replied when Letterman explained she had been the victim of a hacker.
“Which was, it was unfortunate,” she said as she burst out laughing. “I don’t know why I’m laughing, it was terrible!”
“I mean I understand personally how you’re looking at it,” interjected Letterman. “The guy could be in prison for a 100 years or so.”
“On the other hand, the way to look at it is… it was a lovely thing for mankind.” “But it’s illegal is the point,” he added. “I have to say it was quite shocking and creepy,” she explained.
“What was even more creepy was this person was obviously following me. My password was constantly changing for months and months.”
“I kept thinking why is my password always changing. The guy was really there constantly, sitting there all pasty and sweaty, pervy and weird and that’s the creepiest thing.” The actress said last month that the nude photos were actually intended for her then-husband Ryan Reynolds.
She is currently making the rounds to promote the film ‘We Bought a Zoo’.
After the recent release of the trailer for Paranormal Activity 3 you knew it was only a matter of time before they started flooding the web with viral videos. This past week several media members were sent VHS tapes labeled 1988 with short creepy clips of weird kids doing stuff in dark bedrooms. It was only a matter of time before those videos hit the web and here they are. Enjoy trying to decipher the mysteries of Paranormal Activity 3 until it hits theaters on October 21, 2011.
Lately I have been perusing the Entertainment section of the app store. It is filled with wonder and yet asinine concepts. There are some true time killers among the selection, and some true wastes of time. After finding the highly stimulating Songify earlier this week, I went back looking to find some more entertainment gold. And then, eureka!
Video Time Machine. (Is there a more intriguing title?) Literally travel through time with this awesome video app that has been
Some people can’t win for loosing. Lars Von Trier premiered his movie at Cannes film festival to rave reviews and immediately ruined it by opening his mouth. I’m not sure if what he is saying in the following videos is actually what he meant or if he was trying to be controversial or if his joke just failed miserably but he will probably be remember for this rather that the movie he made. Someone should have turned of his microphone when they had the chance.
Fan favorite SouperboyX has come up with another winner, with the teaser trailer for a fan edited film called Superman: Genesis, which presents Tom Welling as the Man of Steel far more effectively than the series finale Smallville did.
I’m definitly interested to see what they are doing with this film. It’s nice to see a take on vampires where they aren’t being played by models and high school kids.
The film is set to be released on May 13th 2011.
A legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.
Apparently JJ Abrams is the most innovative marketing genius of his generation because he has now come up with a whole new way to market his movies. For his upcoming Super 8 film he has teamed with the creators of Portal 2 to create an interactive game level where you can actually walk around and explore the train that wrecks in the trailer for their movie. Very interesting stuff with lots of little tidbits of information just waiting to be explored… If you drop $60 bucks for Portal 2. Or you can watch it here…
PopCandies TV dropped a new Wonder Woman video straight from the set of the new tv show. Hit the jump to check it out.
The video is a bit boring, but hey it’s our first glimpse of the new Wonder Woman in action. What say you? Are you going to watch the pilot? What does this show need to really rake in the viewers? Sound off below!
The internet when apeshit for the trailer for this game when it hit a few months back and the hype train went off the rails for this first person zombie shooter meets GTA. Now and interesting bit of news from IGN. It look like the box art for the North American release of the game will be censored. The Dead Island logo will be changed to remove a zombie hanging from a palm tree and replace him with a stumbling zombie who is not nearly as offensive (apparently). No real reason was given for the censorship other than this statement given by Deep Silver…
Deep Silver told IGN that the box art will be modified in North America, however it will go unchanged within the title screen of the game and on the boxes of the European copies of the game.
Have a look at the before and after versions of these two logos.
Yesterday it was confirmed that Jose Padilha would be directing the reboot/remake of ‘Robocop’ and in this interview he tells us a little about it and reveals that he’s been involved for quite a while already…
Just yesterday we got the official word that Jose Padilha had signed on to direct the upcoming reboot/remake of ‘Robocop’ but as it turns out he’s actually been involved in the film for quite some time.
When seeing the early trailers and teasers for “SUPER” I was under the assumption we were going to be treated to a movie similar to Observe and Report or Kick Ass where the average guy tries to take on the bad guys with nothing but his wits and a pipe wrench. I was wrong. Apparently The Crimson Bolt has some super powers and you’re about to find out how he got them. Hold on to your hat cause a crazy tentacle monster is about to take it off and do some damage…
After Frank’s (Wilson) wife leaves him for a seductive, psychopathic drug dealer (Kevin Bacon), Frank is transformed and the Crimson Bolt is born. With a hand-made suit, a wrench, and a crazed sidekick named Boltie (Ellen Page), the Crimson Bolt beats his way through the mean streets of crime in hopes of saving his wife (Liv Tyler). The rules were written a long time ago: You are not supposed to molest children, cut lines or key cars; if you do, prepare to face the wrath of the Crimson Bolt!

We’ve been talking a lot on this site about how great “Source Code” is and putting a lot of promo behind it lately and the reason for that is that it really is a good sci-fi movie. People tend to talk a lot about comic book adaptations or video game adaptations that just never measure up to the source material but here is a movie that is based on neither yet contains all the classic elements that make video games and comics great. So here’s your chance to see the first five minutes of “Source Code” and get a taste of what makes this movie worth seeing. So enjoy this and know that the first five minutes are just the beginning of a very good story…
